I’m so excited to be involved in this event! I’m such a fan/supporter of the Buy Local movement, not only for artisans/makers but for farmers! Berkshire Grown is a great organization that supports farmers and restaurants in Berkshire County! Here’s the press release for this event, come by a support a local cause!!

FARM CHIC, A JEWELRY AND ACCESSORIES SALE TO BENEFIT BERKSHIRE GROWN TO BE HELD SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28

On Sunday, February 28, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Berkshire Grown is hosting Farm Chic, a fabulous jewelry and accessories sale at Allium, 42/44 Railroad Street in Great Barrington.
The Farm Chic committee is hoping to raise $3,500 to underwrite the annual Farm to Table directory that links local farmers and chefs. Considered the “jewel” of the Berkshire Grown professional network, the directory is an essential resource for local food professionals.

Dai Ban, the noted sculptor and jeweler from, has created a Berkshire Grown-inspired sterling silver charm, the first in a series he plans as a long-term fundraiser for the organization. In addition to his newly fashioned charm, Ban will be selling his works along with jewelers Lisa Anderson, Stephanie Iverson, Saskia Larraz and Stephanie Gravalese. George Reeves will feature his leather goods, and handbags will be available from Lesley Ann Beck and Lynette Cornwell. Crispina ffrench, Sonya Mackintosh (SMartWorks) and Christina Koldys will sell their scarves and shawls. Liz Olney and GeGe Kingston will offer jewelry and accessories for sale
